Wind Turbine Replacement Technician

As an Major Component Exchange Technician, you will play a crucial role in our Update Support Team, performing essential works on ENERCON wind turbines at various wind energy sites in Ireland, the UK, and Europe. 

This position requires 100% travel, providing you with the opportunity to work in diverse locations and gain valuable international experience.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
• Checking all components to ensure compliance with our high manufacturing standards
• Assisting with the mechanical installation of update projects
• Collaborating with subcontractors on site

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualities:

• Ability to work freely in the UK & Ireland 
• Previous experience working on wind farm sites is beneficial
• Banksman / Slinger Course, CSCS Card, Telescopic Loader Ticket and/or MEWP are all a distinct advantage
• Full, clean driving license is essential
• Physically fit and comfortable with heights
• High mobility is essential – willingness to move and to travel nationwide and abroad
• Ability to multitask and work to deadlines and targets
• Have a positive, pro-active approach to working in a team environment along with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
